Ever since I saw my friend get her eyebrows pierced, I’ve always wanted to have one myself. I’ve been thinking about which body part I should have pierced for the longest time. But after talking to the guy who did my friend’s piercing, I went out to look for eyebrow jewelry in preparation for my impending piercing. The conversation we had was very enlightening, and I can’t wait to have an eyebrow stud jutting from above my left brow.

When I got to the jewelry store, I was somewhat amazed by the number of eyebrow jewelry available. There were barbell and captive bead rings. The woman at the counter also told me a couple of things, like the exact angle of the piercing and how long it will take for it to heal. After buying a curved barbell ring, I went back to the piercing shop to have my eyebrow pierced. It’s not as extreme as some people made it out to be, and I think I’ve never been more comfortable with myself.
