Things to Know About Eyebrow Piercing
I’ve always wanted to get a piercing. Ever since I accompanied my friend to look at eyebrow piercing jewelry, I’ve been thinking about which part of my body I want pierced. I considered my nose, belly button and tongue, but I was afraid of getting it irritated. After some research, I decided on getting an eyebrow piercing just like my friend. It is the safest facial piercing because it does not get irritated easily.
Barbells, curved barbells and captive bead rings are the most common types of eyebrow jewelry, and these are usually placed at a 40 degree angle from the outside corner of the eye to make the rings sit better. Eyebrow piercing usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to heal but it can also take longer depending on the person. Taking care of the fresh piercing can speed up the healing with few problems. It is best not to touch or move the piercing a lot during the healing to avoid infection.
